Ann and Groome Fulton Endowed Scholarship

The Ann and Groome Fulton Endowed Scholarship was originally established in 2007 by Bank of North Carolina as an annual scholarship to honor their Chairman, Groome Fulton, and his wife, Ann. The endowed scholarship of the same name was established in the 2016-2017 fiscal year with a gift to fund the scholarship in full and to establish an endowed fund. Recipients of the Ann and Groome Fulton Endowed Scholarship will be selected by the High Point University Office of Financial Planning based on the following guidelines: 1) A minimum of four (4) students will receive the scholarship each year, 2) Students must major in a School of Business major, 3) First preference will be given to the children of employees of BNC Bank / Pinnacle Bank, and 4) Second preference will be given to candidates who are residents of states in which a BNC Bank / Pinnacle Bank has a facility: North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, etc. The Ann and Groome Fulton Endowed Scholarship may be renewed upon successful completion of the previous year’s work and a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
