Bainbridge Family Endowed Scholarship

The Bainbridge Family Endowed Scholarship was established in May 2018 by Robert W. and Karen A. Bainbridge of Cary, N.C. Bob and Karen are the parents of Nicholas A. Bainbridge, Class of 2021. Recipients of the Bainbridge Family Scholarship will be selected by the Office of Financial Planning based on financial need. First preference will be given to students majoring in English and students should maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 to retain the scholarships. The scholarship will not be awarded until the academic year following Nicholas A. Bainbridge’s graduation. Initial recipient will be a freshman meeting the criteria as outlined above and said student shall maintain the scholarship through his or her senior year, assuming good standing with the University. In each subsequent year, a new freshman shall be selected to also receive the scholarship and, assuming the recipient remains in good standing, he or she will maintain the scholarship through senior year. Each scholarship recipient should receive a minimum of the award that he or she received as a freshman in each subsequent year.
