Baxter C. and Elvie T. Shelton Scholarship

The Baxter C. and Elvie T. Shelton Endowed Scholarship was established in December 1978 with an initial gift made by members of the Shelton family. The daughters, son, son-in-law and daughter-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Shelton are all graduates of High Point College. Recipients of the Shelton Endowed Scholarship will be selected by the Office of Financial Planning of High Point University. Priority will be given to students with demonstrated financial need. Scholarships may be renewable based upon successful completion of the previous year’s work.
