Broyhill Family Foundation Endowed Scholarship

The Broyhill Family Foundation Endowed Scholarship was established in November 2016 with the merging of funds from the Paul Broyhill/Home Furnishings Industry Endowed Professorship and the Broyhill Family Foundation undesignated fund, both held at High Point University. The Broyhill Family Foundation located in Lenoir, North Carolina was incorporated in 1945 to support endeavors in higher education, civic, community and health services, the development and welfare of youth, and the free enterprise system. The Foundation has a longstanding interest in High Point University. The Broyhill Family Foundation desires to instill designers with an understanding of basic business principles and management by providing scholarship assistance. The scholarship will be awarded to a student(s) pursuing a major within the School of Art and Design, and who is pursuing a minor within the School of Business. The scholarship will be renewable based upon successful completion of the previous year’s work, and may be awarded to more than one student.
