Carolina Container Scholarship

The Carolina Container Company Scholarship was originally funded with a gift from the company received in December 1983. Historically Carolina Container Company has maintained one of the longest continuous giving records of any donor of the University, and it is appropriate to have this scholarship fund bear its name. Grants shall be made according to financial need and the earnest desire of the recipient to attend High Point University. Recipients of the Carolina Container Company Scholarship will be selected by the Office of Financial Planning. Preference will be given to North Carolina students who are majoring in business administration or other related majors offered by the Earl N. Phillips School of Business. Freshmen may be eligible to receive grants and the same individuals may receive grants in successive years until graduation from the University.
