The Carrick Gardens were a memorial to Doak Bain Carrick (1888-1963), distinguished horticulturist and citizen of High Point for many years, and donated by Carey W. Carrick and Mary Stephens Hewlett, and were located just off the Greenway behind the tennis courts.
