Charles F. and Nellie Wynne Carroll Scholarship Fund

The Charles F. and Nellie Wynne Carroll Scholarship Fund was established in 1995 through a gift from Dr. Charles F. Carroll. Dr. Carroll was a former state superintendent of public schools in North Carolina. He was educated at Trinity College and Duke University and received honorary degrees from Duke and High Point University. A member of Phi Beta Kappa, Dr. Carroll was a former Board of Trustee member of High Point University. Preference will be given to worthy students from North Carolina who have a demonstrated financial need.
