Christopher Hobson and Kristy Scott Dudley Endowed Scholarship

The Christopher Hobson and Kristy Scott Dudley Endowed Scholarship was established in June 2015. Mr. Dudley is a graduate of High Point University’s Class of 1994 majoring in Political Science. He was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha, a Resident Assistant, and active in SGA. He has been employed at his alma mater since 1999, serving in several leadership positions, including: Director of Athletic Development and Marketing, Director of Community Relations, Vice President for Administration, Chief of Staff, and currently as Senior Vice President for Development. Mrs. Dudley is a graduate of High Point University’s Class of 1995 with a major in Human Relations. She was a Resident Assistant and active in American Humanics and in Writing Fellows program during her college years. Mrs. Dudley received her Masters in Counselor Education and now serves as an Adjunct Professor with the University. The Dudley’s demonstrate significant interest in High Point University as alumni, employees and advocates. The donors wish to establish this scholarship to provide assistance to a student(s) from North Carolina, Connecticut, or Delaware. Recipients will be selected based on financial need as determined by the High Point University Office of Financial Planning and should demonstrate leadership qualities through extra-curricular activities. This scholarship may be renewed upon the successful completion of the previous year’s work.
