Clarence M. and Wanda T. Ilderton Scholarship
The Clarence M. and Wanda T. Ilderton Scholarship was established in 1995 by Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ilderton of High Point. The Ildertons resided in the University neighborhood. Mr. Ilderton is a graduate of the Class of 1950 and Mrs. Ilderton was a member of the Class of 1949. They have been active in the High Point business and civic community. Recipients of the Ilderton Scholarship will be awarded by the Office of Financial Planning. First preference will be given to residents of High Point, NC and must have a demonstrated financial need. Students should also have a commitment to graduate from High Point University. The scholarship may be available to qualified students at any time during their studies at HPU. Scholarships may be renewable based upon satisfactory completion of the previous year’s work.
