Class of 1957 Endowed Scholarship

A scholarship was established in 2007 by the Class of 1957 in celebration of their 50th Anniversary. The fund will grow from gifts, memorials and honorariums received from individuals within the class as well as from other friends. The class wishes to base their scholarship on the financial need of one or more students each year. The student can be involved in any area of study but must be a United States citizen and North Carolina resident. Recipients of the Class of 1957 Scholarship should be in good academic standing and exhibit a need for financial assistance. This scholarship will be renewable automatically for the recipient upon successful completion of the previous year’s work. It is requested that each recipient write a thank you note annually to the Director of Alumni Relations who will serve as a representative of the Class of 1957 Scholarship.
