Delta Sigma Phi Endowed Scholarship

The Delta Sigma Phi Endowed Scholarship was established in 2004 as the P. Kevin Cole Endowed Scholarship. In 2008, Mr. Cole, an alumnus of High Point College, Class of 1991, asked that the scholarship be renamed so that it could benefit those associated with the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity of which he was a member. The Delta Sig brotherhood played a significant role in Kevin’s High Point College experience and continues to be an important part of his life. Out of gratitude and a desire for others to be blessed by the fraternal relationships developed, Kevin invited other Delta Sigs to contribute to the fund. Recipients of the Delta Sigma Phi Scholarship will be selected by the Office of Financial Planning with input from the Delta Sigma Phi Alumni Association. Preference will be given to members of the fraternity or children of Delta Sigma Phi members. The Delta Sigma Phi Alumni Association will contact the Office of Financial Planning by May 31st of each year if there is a student who qualifies. They will provide the full name of the student/students, date of birth, city and state. In the event there are no appropriate candidates submitted by May 31st, the funds will be used for need-based scholarships at the discretion of the University.
