Donald R. and Teresa B. Caine Endowed Scholarship

The Donald R. and Teresa B. Caine Endowed Scholarship was established in August 2015. Mr. Caine is a 1965 graduate of High Point University majoring in Business Administration. After working his way through college, Mr. Caine started Camco in 1966 with one employee and one product. Today, Camco has more than 350 employees, over 3,000 products, and five manufacturing facilities. Mrs. Caine is passionate about serving her community and gardening. Mr. and Mrs. Caine have been lifelong partners and have two children and four grandchildren. The Caines demonstrate significant interest in High Point University and wish to establish a scholarship to support future High Point University students. Recipients of the scholarship will be selected on the basis of financial need as determined by the High Point University Office of Financial Planning. First preference will be given to the dependents of employees at Camco Manufacturing, Inc. A representative from Camco will notify the Office of Financial Planning if and when there are interested applicants. This scholarship may be renewed based upon the successful completion of the previous year’s work.
