Earl N. Phillips School of Business Endowed Fund

In September 1973 the business school at High Point College was renamed in honor of Mr. Earl N. Phillips in recognition for his contributions to the college to strengthen and expand it’s school of business administration. Mr. Phillips was chairman of numerous companies in which he helped organize, among them Phillip-Davis Inc., Phillips-Foscue Corp., Hatteras Yacht Company, First Factors Inc., Electrical Supply Company and National Springs Corporation. Mr. Phillips was a mayor of High Point, NC, and served with distinction as a member of the State Port Authority. Today, The Earl N. Phillips School of Business is a vibrant, growing school that offers a vast number of courses in a variety of majors and minors. The vibrant and diverse business community of the Piedmont Triad offers many opportunities for internships, guest speakers, field trips, and experiential learning. The School of Business Advisory Board is a strong partner providing feedback on programs and generating opportunities for both programs and students. The faculty members of the Earl N. Phillips School of Business are focused on student success. Whether a faculty member is teaching, tutoring, advising, consulting, or researching, the goal is to increase the value of its students.
