Elsie G. and Holt McPherson Faculty Development Fund

The Elsie Green McPherson and Holt McPherson Memorial Fund was established in 1989 upon the passing of Mrs. Elsie G. McPherson. The trustees of the University were directed to use the net income from the funds “in their sole and uncontrolled discretion they determine to encourage finer faculty accomplishments and recognition.” In memory of the McPherson’s generosity, the McPherson Faculty Development Fund was named.
