Felix and Margaret Harvey Scholarship

The C. Felix and Margaret Blount Harvey Scholarship was established in 1987 through a gift from Mr. Harvey, who served on the Board of Trustees and was a life member of the board. Mr. Harvey firmly believed in a positive attitude and was cherished by his family and many friends. The University community lost Mr. Felix Harvey in January of 2014. Recipients of the Harvey Scholarship will be selected by the Office of Financial Planning. Priority will be given to students with a demonstrated financial need. No restrictions will be placed upon one geographic residence or area of study, but recipients should have made generally satisfactory progress in the completion of the previous year’s work. Freshmen demonstrating need may be considered for the scholarship.
