Foil V. and Ruth Charles Scholarship

The Foil V. and Ruth Charles Scholarship Fund was established by Mr. and Mrs. Charles of Greensboro, North Carolina, with an initial gift made to High Point College, now University, in January 1977. Mr. Charles was a member of the Class of 1950 and was a loyal and active alumnus. Academic grants from The Charles Scholarship will be given to qualified students majoring in the fields of Religion or Christian Education. Scholarships are renewable based on successful completion of the previous year’s work. Recipients will be selected by the Office of Financial Planning at High Point University.
