Gwendolyn T. Aronson Scholarship
The Gwendolyn T. Aronson Memorial Scholarship was established in 2005 as a result of gifts received from Mrs. Aronson’s estate. Mrs. Aronson was active in the furniture community and was a member of Saint Michael’s Lutheran Church. She died in 2004. The Aronson’s had no children and this scholarship is designed to support young adults as if they were related to the Aronson family. The Aronson Scholarship may be used for tuition, books, and room and board for entering or returning students. Preference will be given to female students who are residents of High Point. Financial need may also be considered as criteria as determined by the University’s Office of Financial Planning. Scholarships will be renewable upon successful completion of the previous year’s work.
