Hallman Family Scholarship
The Hallman Family Scholarship was established in August 2006 by gifts from Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hallman of High Point, NC. Mr. Hallman is an alumnus from the Class of 1961 and an active member of the High Point University Panther Club Board and former member of the Board of Visitors. Mr. Hallman serves as President and CEO of Electronic Data Magnetics, Inc. and has spent a lifetime as a business leader in the High Point community. Mr. Hallman’s wife, Jeanette, has devoted her attention to community service involvement in High Point and Guilford County. The scholarship was created as an expression of their gratitude to High Point University. Scholarships are designed to assist students in the School of Education. Preference will be given to students majoring in early childhood education and specifically those with an interest or concentration in Special Education. Scholarships will be automatically renewable upon successful completion of the previous year’s work.
