Harold and Kate Reed Family Endowed Scholarship

The Harold and Kate Reed Family Endowed Scholarship Fund was established at High Point University in October 2016 by the Harold and Kate Reed Family Foundation. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Reed are both from Minneapolis, Minnesota and currently reside in North Palm Beach, Florida. They have a long history of involvement in education that dates back generations and feel honored and blessed to be able to further this tradition for future generations of High Point University students. One of their daughters, Kelly M. Reed, is a Communications major at High Point University scheduled to graduate in 2019. She is active in Kappa Delta sorority. During her high school and college careers, Kelly has been active and engaged in numerous service activities. The Reed Family demonstrates significant interest in High Point University and wishes to establish an endowed scholarship. The scholarship will benefit students with a demonstrated financial need, as determined by the High Point University Office of Financial Planning. This scholarship may be renewed upon the successful completion of the previous year’s work.
