HPU Business Accelerator Endowed Fund

The HPU Business Accelerator Fund challenges undergraduate entrepreneurs to advance their academic projects from concepts into sustainable start-up business ventures. Gary Simon, an entrepreneur and owner of Simon Jewelers, established the fund in 2009 to encourage students to translate outstanding ideas to reality. Additionally, through the Entrepreneurship Center, students will receive advice, professional network connections, and other necessary support to successfully implement business ventures. Start-up proposals will be generated within an entrepreneurship program – The Elevator Pitch Competition – under the guidance of the faculty members or administrators of the High Point University Entrepreneurship Center.
