Jack Wood Charles Endowed Scholarship

The Jack W. Charles Endowed Scholarship was established in 2000 by alumnus Jack Wood Charles of Greensboro, NC, a member of the Class of 1949. Mr. Charles was a distinguished member of the University’s Alumni Board. He also attended George Washington University and was employed there in management development and employee training programs. Since there were no children in his immediate family, Mr. Charles established the scholarship at High Point with funds which would have been used to educate his own children. The selection of scholarship recipients will be the responsibility of the Office of Financial Planning and no restrictions regarding its award have been placed upon the fund.
