John E. Ward, Jr. Scholarship

The John E. Ward, Jr., Endowed Scholarship was established in 1993 in memory of Dr. John E. Ward, Jr., by friends and family members. Dr. Ward died in May 1993 following a brief illness. John served as Chairman of the University’s Department of Biology and was a member of the Class of 1963. Recipients of the John E. Ward, Jr., Scholarship are selected by the Office of Financial Planning. Preference will go to students majoring in Biology and hold high academic credentials.
