Katharine B. Polan Endowed Scholarship

The Katherine B. Polan Endowed Scholarship was established at High Point University in April 2018 by Neal and Amy Polan of Greenwich, CT. Mr. Polan is an experienced healthcare entrepreneur and has founded and operated successful businesses in healthcare services and led reorganizations and investments in small to middle market healthcare companies. Mrs. Polan works alongside her husband in HealthCare and is a licensed Optician. She manages their medical facility in an underserved metropolitan NYC area. Katherine “Kate” Polan is a member of the HPU Class of 2019 and will graduate with a degree in Human Relations. The Polan family demonstrates significant interest in High Point University and wishes to establish an endowed scholarship. The scholarship will support students with a demonstrated financial need, as determined by the Office of Financial Planning. First preference will be given to a student with promising academic skill and significant financial need. This scholarship may be renewed upon the successful completion of the previous year’s work.
