Kreider Endowed Scholarship Fund
The Kreider Endowed Scholarship was established at High Point University in May 2016. Mr. Kreider is a graduate of Villanova University and serves on their Board of Trustees. He is a retired Director of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts and Co. (KKR). Mrs. Kreider committed her career to raising their five children. Their son, Kevin, is a member of the High Point University Class of 2016. The Kreiders demonstrate significant interest in High Point University and wished to establish an endowed scholarship. The Kreider Endowed Scholarship will support a science major in his/her junior or senior year who is pursuing a degree in a health-related career with preference given to a student considering a job as a physician assistant or nurse. First consideration will be given to a student who is a resident of Long Island, New York. Recipients of the scholarship will be selected on the basis of financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Planning and retain a GPA of 2.75 or above. This scholarship may be renewable upon successful completion of the previous year’s work.
