Louis B. Pope Library Endowment

The Louis B. Pope Library Endowment Fund was established in 1988 through gifts from Dr. Louis “Billy” Pope. Dr. Pope was a member of the High Point College Class of 1948 and received his Master’s and Ph.D. from UNC-Chapel Hill. He was teaching at High Point College when he retired in 1987. Dr. Pope was an avid book collector and donated to public libraries, colleges, and universities. The Louis B. Pope Library Endowment Fund is to be used to support library acquisitions at High Point University.
