M. M. and Ann B. Schwartz Scholarship
The M. M. and Ann B. Schwartz Scholarship was established by Mr. and Mrs. Schwartz in December 1980. Mr. Schwartz was a member of the Class of 1932 and was an active supporter of the College. Mr. “Mickey” and Mrs. Ann Schwartz owned and operated North Carolina Leather of High Point, North Carolina, and are survived by their daughter, Ms. Stephanie Schwartz Zimmerman and grandsons Joel and Nathan Zimmerman. First preference for this scholarship will be given to students admitted to the University under the Presidential Scholars program. Recipients will be recommended by the Office of Admissions and selected by the Office of Financial Planning. There are no restrictions prohibiting the same individual, or individuals, from receiving the Schwartz Scholarship in successive years.
