Neil and Carolyn Cagle Stein Endowed Scholarship

The Stein Scholarship was established in 1998 through gifts from the Cagle Family in honor of Carolyn Cagle Stein of Asheboro, North Carolina and her husband, Neil. Mrs. Stein was the wife of Neil L. Stein who served as a United Methodist Minister in the Missouri East Conference of the United Methodist Church, and a partner with her husband in ministry. Mrs. Stein was born while her father and mother were students at High Point College (now University). Carolyn passed away in 1998 and was succeeded in death by her husband in 2000. Scholarships will be awarded at the discretion of the Office of Financial Aid without restrictions and may be renewable upon successful completion of the previous year’s work.
