Owen D. and Mattie Holt McPherson Professor of Philosophy and Religion

Established in 1969 through a gift from Mr. and Mrs. Garland McPherson, the Owen D. and Mattie Holt McPherson Chair of Philosophy and Religion was created in their memory. The fund supports a professorship within the Department of Religion and Philosophy of The David R. Hayworth College of Arts and Sciences at High Point University.
