Paul Gratiot Scholarship

The A. Paul Gratiot Scholarship was established in 1985 through a gift from Dr. Gratiot’s estate. Dr. Gratiot was a member of the Department of History, Political Science and Geography at High Point College from 1962 until his retirement in 1980. He served as department chair between the years 1965 and 1976. Recipients of The Gratiot Scholarship will demonstrate financial need with preference given to students majoring in history, political science, and/or geography. Freshmen can be considered. Scholarships are renewable upon satisfactory completion of the previous year’s work.
