Preuster Kramer Family Endowed Scholarship
The Preuster Kramer Family Endowed Scholarship was established in December 2016 by Lawrence F. Kramer, III, and Donna Preuster to provide assistance for students with a learning disability to attend High Point University. Mr. Kramer and Ms. Preuster, of Glen Rock, NJ, are the parents of Lawrence F. “Cole” Kramer, IV, Class of 2020. Recipients of the Preuster Kramer Family Endowed Scholarship will be selected by the Office of Financial Planning based upon the following criteria: 1) must be a high school senior attending High Point University in the fall semester, 2) have demonstrated financial need, and 3) must provide current documentation of an identified learning disability of Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, or ADHD (e.g. psycho-educational report, neuropsychological evaluation, IEP or 504 plan) and has utilized services, supports and/or accommodations. The ideal Preuster Kramer Family Scholar will be a student who articulates his/her challenges and recognizes the need for self-advocacy, is committed to post-high school academic study and has begun to set realistic career goals, participates in school and community activities, and demonstrates financial need.
