R. Frank and Lois H. Gay Scholarship

The R. Frank and Lois Hedgecock Gay Scholarship was established in November 1984. Mrs. Gay was a member of the Class of 1936 and was a loyal and active Alumna. She was a former member of the High Point University Board of Trustees. Recipients of the Gay Scholarship will be selected by the Office of Financial Planning with first preference being given to students who have applied from Lebanon United Methodist Church in High Point. Further consideration may be given to students from Guilford, Forsyth and Davidson counties. The donor prefers that only one recipient be selected each year. The scholarship may be renewable based upon the successful completion of the previous year’s work.
