Ray B. Hamlet Scholarship

The Ray B. Hamlet Scholarship was established in 1988 by friends of Ray Hamlet for the purpose of assisting students preparing for a career in the furniture industry. Mr. Hamlet died in 1987 after serving his entire business career as a furniture fabric sales representative. Recipients of the Hamlet Scholarship will be selected on the basis of financial need with preference given to applicants whose families are employed in a furniture-related profession. Scholarships are renewable upon satisfactory completion of the previous year’s work in a home furnishings program.
