Robert P. and Imogene C. Gruenberg Scholarship
Was comingled to 4-610487-44025 School of Art and Design Scholarship, then uncomingled January 2019 due to living immediate family member and donor actively supporting this fund. Donor wishes for the fund not to be comingled. The Robert P. and Imogene C. Gruenberg Scholarship was established in 1990 by friends and family members in honor and in memory of Robert P. Gruenberg. Mr. Gruenberg was a member of the High Point College Board of Trustees and a leader in the International Marketing of Furniture. Mr. Gruenberg served as Vice President and General Manager of the Southern Furniture Center in High Point, North Carolina. Recipients of the Gruenberg Scholarship will be selected by the Office of Financial Planning with the recommendation of the Phillips School of Business. First consideration will be given to students who are enrolled in the furniture degree programs at the University. Students who possess outstanding promise and financial need will be given the highest priority in the selection process. Scholarships may be renewable based on successful completion of the previous year’s work.
