Robert R. Aylmer Memorial Scholarship

The Robert R. Aylmer, Jr., Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by his wife, Patricia, his family, Patricia’s family, and their friends with contributions to High Point College. Mr. Aylmer was a graduate of the Class of 1973. Recipients of the scholarship will meet the following criteria: 1) be enrolled as a biology or natural science major, 2) be of good Christian character, 3) be worthy of financial assistance, and 4) have high predictability for future success. First preference will be given to students majoring in Biology. The scholarship will not be used as an athletic grant. Recommendations of recipients will be requested from the head of the Biology Department and will be selected by the Office of Financial Planning. There are no restrictions prohibiting same individuals from receiving the award in successive years.
