Sam and Olive Myers Endowed Scholarship

The Samuel W. and Olive H. Myers Endowed Scholarship was established in December 2002 by Sam and Olive Myers, graduates of High Point College (now University) in 1937 and 1940, respectively. The Myers’ were lifelong residents of High Point and resided on North College Drive across from Belk Residence Hall. The Myers’ were longtime friends and supporters of the University, with a special love for Panther athletics. The Myers Scholarship is awarded to a North Carolina resident with demonstrated financial need. Recipients should have a “B” average at the time the scholarship is awarded. The scholarship may be renewed annually, provided that a “B” average is maintained.
