Sandra Graham Shelton Scholarship

The Sandra Graham Shelton Scholarship was established in 1993 by Mr. Charles M. Shelton, Sr. to honor his wife and to express a commitment to higher education at High Point University. Recipient(s) of The Sandra Graham Shelton Scholarship will be selected by the Office of Financial Planning and be referred to as Sandra Graham Shelton Scholar(s). There is no limitation as to the field of study for any student recipient. The value of each grant to a student is $2,500 per year and grants shall be credited to the student’s account; in no event shall the funds be paid directly to a student. [The investment functions of this Fund have been delegated to Brown Brothers Harriman, effective April 2014, and the reported value of the fund at that time was removed from the endowment fund of HPU.] As of APRIL 24, 2014, by memo, the firm of Brown Brothers Harriman, c/o Mr. Charles Izard, Partner, are responsible for communicating this account’s performance. It has been removed from the endowment of High Point University.
