Stanley Shavitz Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Stanley Shavitz Memorial Scholarship Endowed Fund was established in December 2014 with an initial gift made by Mrs. Stanley Shavitz (Phyllis). The Shavitz Family will fund up to $50,000 through annual contributions from The Stanley and Phyllis Shavitz Family Fund of the High Point Community Foundation. Recipients of The Shavitz Scholarship will be selected by the Office of Financial Planning. Selection will be based on financial need, with preference given to students studying in the Entrepreneurship Program of the School of Business. For students returning to High Point University over consecutive academic years, the scholarship award may be renewed upon the successful completion of the previous year’s academic work.
