Charlotte Churchill Brown Scholarship
The Charlotte Churchill Brown Scholarship was established by the Reverend James C.P. Brown in memory of his wife. Mrs. Brown was a member of the High Point College Class of 1948 and graduated with a B.A. Degree with majors in English and Christian Education. Reverend Brown was also a member of the Class of 1948. First preference for the selection of recipients shall be for worthy and capable students preparing for careers in Christian Education and teaching. Except for this consideration, there are no general restrictions governing the making of grants in the name of the Charlotte Churchill Brown Scholarship. Recipients will be selected by the Office of Financial Planning. The scholarship may be renewable upon satisfactory completion of the previous year’s work.
