Dr. James E. Surratt Outstanding School of Education Doctoral Student Award

Award will be selected by the Dean of the Stout School of Education. Recipients must be a doctoral student who excels in leadership. The award is to be given on an annual basis at an event prior to graduation.

Awards will be ~$1,000. First year the annual award will be $1,000.

The Dr. James E. Surratt Outstanding (SOE) Doctoral Student Award shall be administered under the following guidelines:
a. Recipients will be selected by the Dean of the Stout School of Education.
b. Recipients will be a doctoral student who excels in leadership.
c. The award will be given on an annual basis at an event prior to graduation.
d. In the event that the award is no longer given the fund will be merged with the Surratt Endowed Scholarship.
